How To Setup Tier Price In Magento 2

Encourage customers to buy a product in bulk with a special ad campaign. This is an advertising campaign that benefits everyone, the customers who buy, you will sell more products and pay less and get more revenue. In this post, I will guide you How To Setup Tier Price In Magento 2.

What is Tier Price?

Tier pricing is a way to encourage shoppers to buy a product in larger quantities by applying volume-based discounts. These discounts can be decentralized so that they increase as the order quantity is raised.

Tier price will be displayed with the words “As low as” on the Product List Page and “Buy 3 for $82.80 each and save 10%” on the Product Page.

When configuring, the price will be given priority from highest to lowest quantity. And when you have 2 quantity levels of 2 and 5, the customer adds 3, 4 items to the basket, the price will be calculated according to the specified discount of quantity 2. When the customer adds 5 items to the basket, the price will be calculated according to the discount rate of quantity 5.

Steps To Setup Tier Price In Magento 2

Step 1: Login to Admin Panel.

Step 2: To go to Product Management, choose CATALOG -> Products.

Step 3: Choose Edit of products to want to setup a special price.

Step 4: At the bottom of the Price field, choose Advanced Pricing.

Step 5: Fill tier price in the Customer Group Price Table.

  • Select the Website you want the tier price be available for.
  • Choose the Customer Group who will receive the discounted price.
  • In the Quantity field, enter the number of products the discount to be applied.
  • In the Price field, enter the discounted price for the product (can be discounted by money or reduced by percentage).

Step 6: Click to Save, and refresh cache.
