How To Configure The Wishlist In Magento 2
The Wishlist feature in Magento 2 allows customers to save products for future purchases, making shopping more convenient and improving user engagement. Magento 2 also provides options for sharing wishlists and managing the wishlist link visibility in customer accounts. Steps to Configure the Wishlist in Magento 2
1. Enable the Wishlist Feature
Log in to the Magento Admin Panel.
Navigate to Stores > Settings > Configuration.
Under Customers, select Wishlist.
Expand the Admin Actions Logging section and set Enabled to Yes.

Click Save Config and clear the cache.
2. Configure Wishlist Share Options
Expand the Share Options section.

Configure the following settings:
- Enabled – Set to Yes to allow customers to share their wishlists.
- Email Sender – Choose the email identity that will be used to send wishlist emails.
- Email Template – Select the email template used for wishlist sharing.
- Max Emails Allowed to Be Sent – Set the maximum number of recipients a customer can send their wishlist to.
- Email Text Length Limit – Define the character limit for custom messages included in the wishlist email.
3. Configure My Wish List Link
Expand the My Wish List Link section.

Configure the following options:
- Display Wish List Summary – Choose whether to show the number of wishlist items in the link.
- Number of Items to Display in Summary – Define how many wishlist items should be displayed in the summary.
Customers will now see their wishlist count in the My Account menu.
