In this post, I will guide you How To Disable MSI In Magento 2. MSI (Multi-Source Inventory) is a powerful system, but it still has disadvantages that make it difficult for store owners to manage.
MSI (Multi-Source Inventory) first appeared in Magento 2.3.0 release, MSI helps to provide online store owners with inventory management capabilities. It makes shipping, payment and delivery services faster.
The disadvantage of using this feature is that when there are many orders placed, MSI cannot process it if the order comes from many different sources and stores. There is another disadvantage of using MSI is that the store owner cannot manage the stock orders perfectly as it does not have the option to reduce the order placed. It only drops if the product is shipped.
Disable MSI For Each Magento 2 Versions
1. Connect to your server via SSH.
ssh root@<your-ip-address> -p <your-port-number>
2. Go to Magento 2 root folder.
